FROM PALETTE TO PLATE
Mount St. Restaurant
October 2025
To mark Nicolas Party’s first solo exhibition at Hauser & Wirth London (14 October – 20 December 2025) and the start of Frieze Week, we’re delighted to announce the return of ‘Palette to Plate’ – a culinary series in which art inspires the menu.
This season’s highlights include a pear & almond tart, a nod to Party’s ‘Still Life’ (2023) – a vivid expression of his imaginative approach to the genre, as seen in the Swiss Room above Mount St. Restaurant – alongside a roasted pumpkin soup, paying homage to Hans Emmenegger’s (1866–1940) painting ‘Turbankürbi’.

ART AT MOUNT ST. RESTAURANT
Mount St. Restaurant
Art is at the heart of the building, with The Audley acting as a showcase for extraordinary and important works alongside specially commissioned site-specific art interventions created by Hauser & Wirth’s roster of globally celebrated artists. Over 200 pieces of art feature throughout Mount St. Restaurant & Rooms, including works by Warhol, Matisse, Freud, Guston and Calder.

NICOLAS PARTY – CLOTHO
Hauser & Wirth Savile Row
14 October – 20 December 2025
The universe of Swiss painter Nicolas Party comes alive in his first solo exhibition at Hauser & Wirth in London. Featuring new treescapes and portraits in pastel, this exhibition celebrates and challenges longstanding and cherished conventions of representational painting through Party’s signature style.
On display at Hauser & Wirth, 23 Savile Row, London W1S 2ET – a 12-minute walk from Mount St. Restaurant.

HOSPITAL ROOMS
Mount St. Restaurant
Mount St. Restaurant is a proud supporter of Hospital Rooms, a charity that brings extraordinary art and creative activity to mental health hospitals. A voluntary £1 donation is added to guest bills, with all proceeds supporting this important cause.

A MOUNT ST. ICON
“The absolute must-have dish is the lobster pie for two. It is a frankly stunning pie, loaded with lobster (which we noted was spread very evenly around the pie).” Hot Dinners
A signature dish not to be missed: the iconic lobster pie, featuring a rich lobster bisque sauce encased in flaky, buttery pastry.
Best enjoyed between two (or one particularly hungry person).
